In 1989, Bruce Humphrey, a recent culinary graduate, was featured in the Beaver County Times. He was quoted as expressing his dream of opening a restaurant with great food in his hometown of Beaver Falls. In April 1997, Bruce realized that dream, opening Giuseppe's Tuscany Grill
. Within two years, he not only implemented a great menu, but he also remodeled the entire restaurant, creating a warm setting with outstanding murals and statues giving a feel of the Tuscany region in Italy.
Prior to opening Giuseppe's, Bruce had a very successful career in the Pittsburgh area. He worked at some of Pittsburgh's finest restaurants, including Jakes Above the Square, Primos, The Living Room and Pastamore. As a chef in Pittsburgh, he was critically acclaimed for his innovative cooking styles. He was featured in a national publication and on Pittsburgh talk shows for his fusion of Chinese and Italian cuisines. Throughout his career, he has been referred to by his mentors as “The King of Seafood”, as is evident when you have the pleasure of indulging in one of his creations.
At Giuseppe's, the menu features the finest pasta, seafood, chicken and veal dishes that Bruce develops using his culinary training, natural talent and family traditions taught to him by his Italian mother and grandmothers. All of the dishes are prepared from scratch, to order, using old world cooking methods. While Bruce is working hard preparing the finest food for his guests, his family, including his wife and their three children, will ensure that your visit is memorable.
